Do I need to be at home to have my water, wastewater or reclaimed service turned on?
You do not need to be home for water and wastewater service to be turned on. You will need to be certain that the internal plumbing has been secured and all faucets are in the OFF position prior to your initiation of service. Failure to do so will result in delaying the connection of your service and will result in additional service charges. You will need to be present at the time a mandatory cross-connection inspection is held to turn on your reclaimed irrigation service. This inspection will last approximately ten to fifteen minutes. You will need to schedule this inspection in advance through our office.
