Current Projects

The Clay County Utility Authority is always working to provide better utility services to our customers and to expand our service area, while causing as little inconvenience as possible. The Authority currently has construction crews working on projects in the following areas:

County Road 220 at the Black Creek Park-n-Ride to Yarmouth Drive

Clay County Utility Authority will be making an emergency repair to a gravity sewer main on County Road 220 beginning at 7:00 AM on August 15, 2017. The repair will require accessing the main that is approximately 20 feet deep under the road. To ensure crews can safely and efficiently make this repair, traffic will be modified along the highlighted portion of County Road 220 on the map. Traffic in both directions along County Road 220 from Black Creek Park-n-Ride to Yarmouth Drive will be impacted for approximately 4 weeks weather permitting (One week maintenance of traffic and staging, two weeks for the repair and one week for maintenance of traffic tear down and restoration). Please allow extra travel time and pay close attention to the traffic signs in the area.

Thank you for your patience as we repair this critical underground utility infrastructure. If you have further questions, please contact the Clay County Utility Authority at 904-272-5999

CCUA Rehabilitation of Sewer Main along Constitution Drive

This project is a joint effort between CCUA and PM Construction, Inc. to replace the aging underground sewer lines along Constitution Drive from Blanding Boulevard, to the intersection across from James Wilson Circle in the Heritage Hills neighborhood of Orange Park. Unfortunately, due to high groundwater conditions and the time/effort to work on the deeper manholes in this area, the construction schedule has been extended. We request, with unfamiliar traffic patterns and delays due to construction, that residents and motorists allow additional travel time while passing through this area.

Kindest Regards,
CLAY COUNTY UTILITY AUTHORITY
