Current Projects

The Clay County Utility Authority is always working to provide better utility services to our customers and to expand our service area, while causing as little inconvenience as possible. The Authority currently has construction crews working on projects in the following areas:

County Road 220 Water Line Upgrades (Fleming Island - Middleburg)
CCUA will be having a new water main installed along County Rd. 220 between Habersham Harbour Dr. and Silver Pt. The project will begin in February 2024 and could take up to 365 days to complete. The project includes temporary pavement in the median and a traffic shift to maintain the two westbound lanes for the majority of the project.
TB Landmark Construction has been installing a new Water Main for Clay County Utility Authority on County Rd. 220. To decrease congestion, ensure the safety of the traveling public and construction professionals, and complete the project more quickly, it is necessary to transition to overnight operations. Work will occur from Sunday to Thursday from 6pm-6am beginning on Wednesday 8/21. This phase of construction is expected to last two to three weeks. Impacted area will be one west bound traveling lane on CR 220 and the entrance of Harmony Hill Rd. Access through Harmony Hill Rd. will remain available at all times. During scheduled work you may encounter slight delays. No utility disruption is anticipated from this work.
